Goals are set by branch and individual or family names are listed and will be submitted by the branches Sunday. The districts will forward the information to the mission and then sent on to the area office. We will report progress to the area office quarterly, but branches report visits and progress on the work weekly in a brief branch council meeting.
The branches have various plans to encourage members to study and pray daily.
Missionary work has been directed to strengthen the less active members and baptize other family and friends that are interested in the gospel. Missionaries teach the members the missionary lessons and rekindle the flame of faith in their hearts. This has been quite successful. Last month 1,600 members have been reactivated - attended 4 weeks in a row. The goal is "Dressed in white twice." Baptism and on to the temple. So once they return the work has only just begun.
We are energized with the members and other missionaries in the pursuit of the area goals.
Hi! Really enjoyed reading and seeing all of your happenings. Do you get to have the bananas growing at your place? I love rather green ones and so that would be just perfect for me to be able to choose one each day that would taste the way I wanted it to! Cool way to get your hair cut, not quite the same as how you use to in Utah at you know how much$$$ Interesting wedding reception, nice looking couple! Great goals and looks like you are reaching them that is even better! You are fortunate to always be needed, Ron is, but I'm not all of the time. Well, take care of yourselves and don't let the cobras get you! Have you ever seen one? Yuck!!
